Terms and Conditions

01About these terms

These terms apply when you use the HUSSTO website, rent a HUSSTO electric scooter, or take part in the HUSSTO Fleet Ownership Program or Fleet Operations Program. In these terms, "HUSSTO", "we", "us" and "our" mean HUSSTO, and "you" means the person using our website or services.

By booking a vehicle or joining a program, you agree to these terms. If a signed agreement between you and HUSSTO says something different, the signed agreement applies.

02Who can rent

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must hold a valid driving licence wherever the law requires one for the vehicle you rent.
  • You must show a valid government photo ID and the ID from the delivery platform you work with, such as Blinkit, Zomato, Swiggy or Zepto.
  • We may decline a booking if we cannot verify your identity or your work ID.

03Rental plans and rent

  • Rent is ₹220 a day.
  • The Weekly plan costs ₹1,540 for 7 days. The Monthly plan costs ₹6,600 for 30 days.
  • Rent is paid in advance for each week or month, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
  • If rent is not paid on time, we may pause the rental and ask you to return the vehicle.
  • Prices on the website may change. The price that applies to you is the one confirmed when you book or renew.

04Offers and promo codes

  • HUSSTOFREE (Weekly plan): rent for the first week is free. You still pay the security deposit of ₹2,000 to ₹3,000.
  • RIDFREE1 (Monthly plan): one week's rent, ₹1,540, is taken off your first month. Your first month costs ₹5,060 instead of ₹6,600. The security deposit still applies.
  • Codes apply to new bookings, one code per booking. They cannot be exchanged for cash or combined with another offer.
  • Tell us the code when you book. We may change or end an offer at any time, but a booking already confirmed keeps its offer.

05Online booking and verification

  • You can book online on the Book online page (hussto.com/book.html). You give your details, your partner / rider ID, a screenshot of that ID in your partner app, your payouts for the last 3 months and proof of those payouts.
  • Everything you send must be true and your own. Sending someone else's details or edited screenshots is a breach of these terms, and we will cancel the booking.
  • Sending the form is a request, not a confirmed booking. Your booking is confirmed only after our team verifies you and tells you so by phone or WhatsApp.
  • We may decline a booking if we cannot verify your details. No payment is taken online.

06Work ID check and security deposit

  • When you book, you show the ID from the delivery platform you work with. We verify it.
  • Based on that check, we set your security deposit between ₹2,000 and ₹3,000. We tell you the amount before you pay.
  • The deposit is refunded after you return the vehicle and we inspect it with you. We may deduct unpaid rent, fines, and the cost of damage or missing parts, and we tell you what was deducted and why.

07Using the vehicle

While the vehicle is with you, you agree to:

  • ride it yourself, for lawful work, and not lend, sublet or sell it;
  • follow traffic rules and wear a helmet;
  • not modify, tamper with or open the vehicle or its battery;
  • keep the vehicle's documents with it and park it safely;
  • tell us straight away about any breakdown, accident, damage or theft.

Traffic fines and challans issued while the vehicle is rented to you are your responsibility.

08Damage, loss and theft

  • Normal wear and tear is our cost.
  • Damage caused by misuse, negligence or breaking these terms is your cost. We assess it at inspection and show you the details.
  • If the vehicle is stolen, you must report it to the police, get a copy of the FIR, and tell us straight away.

09Returning the vehicle and ending a rental

  • Return the vehicle at the end of your plan, at the place we agree, unless you renew.
  • Tell us early if you will be late. Late returns may be charged at the daily rate.
  • We may end a rental and take back the vehicle if rent is unpaid, the vehicle is misused, or these terms are broken.

10Fleet Ownership Program

  • Under this program you buy HUSSTO electric scooters. The price is ₹66,000 per vehicle, GST included.
  • The smallest purchase is 2 vehicles. Packages of 2, 5, 10 and 20 vehicles are listed on the Fleet Ownership page.
  • Ownership passes to you once full payment is received and the purchase paperwork is complete.
  • Payment schedule, delivery, warranty and registration are set out in the purchase agreement you sign with us.

11Fleet Operations Program

  • This is a separate program for people who own HUSSTO vehicles. Under it, HUSSTO operates the owner's fleet.
  • Revenue from the fleet is shared on terms agreed in writing between the owner and HUSSTO. The owner receives a fixed monthly rental yield as set out in that agreement.
  • Nothing on this website is an offer of securities or a deposit scheme. The program starts only when both sides sign a written agreement, and that agreement sets all amounts, duties and risks.

12Payments

We do not take payments through this website. Payments are made directly to HUSSTO by the methods we confirm to you. Always check that you are paying HUSSTO before you send money.

13Using this website

  • Content on this website is for general information. We try to keep it accurate, but prices, plans and availability may change.
  • The HUSSTO name, logo and website content belong to HUSSTO. Please do not copy them without our permission.

14Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, HUSSTO is not liable for indirect losses, such as lost earnings, arising from a breakdown, delay or the vehicle being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Indian consumer protection law.

15Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Changes do not affect a rental or agreement already running, unless you agree.

16Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in New Delhi have jurisdiction over any dispute.
